 Hi
this Dave Rimington, I have been recruited as the webmaster
for the new Nebraska Society of New York web site at
www.nsny.org. I am really excited to join this group and
hope you will become an active member in NSNY. Our goal is
to have a great time and become one of best Nebraska Alumni
groups in the US.
Jack McHenry and Annie Russell are our new CO-presidents.
They are both young, full of energy and have been working
hard to develop activities that will interest even the "old
timers" like me. We have an organizational meeting set for
February 8th. After the meeting we hope to have a pub/bar
picked out for our Thirsty Thursday mixer.
We are looking for people who would like to be active in the
organization. If you think you might be interested email us
at info@nsny.org
We are looking for people with some free time as general
volunteers or have the following skill set.
1. General Volunteers
2. Writers and Graphic Designers- logo and brochure design
for our events
3. Lawyers (always good to have a bunch of these)
4. Softball Players...We are hoping to find a league in NYC
for the summer.
5. Photographers
6. Actors/Voice over artists -- for the NSNY Hotline
announcements.
You don't have to be a NU Alum to be a member ... just
someone who has driven or flown over Nebraska will do.
Seriously, If you have an interest in Nebraska we want you
as a member.
